A truly GREAT item from the second Bentley's era at Le Mans!

This is an original short-sleeve shirt issued to a pitcrew member of Team Bentley for the 2001 running of the Le Mans 24 Hours.

This was of course the year of the "Bentley return to Le Mans" and two cars were entered.

The EXP Speed 8 of Andy Wallace, Butch Leitzinger and Eric van de Poele who managed a respectable 3rd place overall and first in the LM GTP class with a total of 306 laps and the EXP Speed 8 of Martin Brundle, Stephane Ortelli & Guy Smith which caught fire and had to give up in lap 56.

Please note that this is a team issue ONLY and that these shirts were NEVER available to the general public!

The shirt carries all the appropriate markings such as LARGE Team Bentley embroidery, Dunlop embroidery and the Union Jack.

The shirt is a European size M.

Used but very good condition.
